It is forbidden to pay a foreign worker in the nursing industry employed in Israel less than minimum wage.
As of April 2023, the minimum wage per month for a full-time position in the nursing industry (24/6) is NIS 5,571.75 gross (daily wageNIS 222.87, NIS 30.61 per hour). Since December 2017, the minimum wage per
month for a full-time position in the nursing industry (24/6) is NIS 5,300 gross (daily wage NIS 212, NIS 29.12 per hour).

The employer may deduct from the employee's salary amounts permitted by law for housing, residential incidental expenses, half the cost of health insurance, and economic expenses.
